This is a collection of owner / operator manuals for Procunier Universal high speed tapping and drilling heads, It covers models ranging from the 11000 series all the way up to the 40000 series. Each section of the book covers a different model group. Procunier heads are used in many production shops to drill and tap holes from more conventional drilling and tapping machines. They are typically powered by the spindle of a milling machine or drill press and drive the tap or drill through a gear & clutch mechanism.. If pressure is applied to the tip of the tap it runs forward and causes the tap to thread the hole, once a desired tapping depth is reached the operator or operating mechanism on the machine will pull back on the tap causing the tapping head to reverse directions and unscrew the tap from the hole. The information provided here gives the operator information on care and maintenance of the tapping head, there are tables and charts with information about cutting speeds and there are exploded and assembly drawings with parts call outs and part numbers as well as contact and parts ordering information. Invaluable information if you are using these devices.
